Billie Ray Hodges

Billie Ray Hodges, 73, formerly of Macedonia, Illinois passed away December 5, 2016 at 5:00 a.m. at his home in Gillette, Wyoming. He was born February 11,1943 in Success, Arkansas, the son of Joe Calvin and Alberta Jane (Breece) Hodges.  He married Barbara Ann Yates on June 25, 1961.  He was a retired oil field worker.

Mr. Hodges is survived by his wife Barbara Ann Hodges of Gillette, Wyoming. Four sons; Billie R. (Patricia) Hodges Jr. of Gillette, Wyoming, Joe Calvin Hodges of Gillette, Wyoming, John Laffette (Jenny) Hodges of Bloomington, Minnesota, and Benny Eugene (Dorothy) Hodges of Gillette, Wyoming.  One daughter; Mary Jane (Kenneth) Steele of Gillette, Wyoming.  Nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters; Lisa Webb and Linda Hodges and two brothers; Joe Calvin Hodges and Benny Hodges.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. Brother Benny Ray Webb and Brother Roger Webb will officiate.  He will be buried in the Hudson Cemetery near McLeansboro.  Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  Gholson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
