Ray Marion Cross

Ray Marion Cross, 62, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at his home in Dahlgren, Illinois.

Mr. Cross was born on November 30, 1954 to Albert Wayne and Estelle (Beasley) Cross in McLeansboro, Illinois.  A resident of Dahlgren, Ill, Ray worked as a farmer up until the time of his passing.

Ray is survived by his mother; Estelle Cross of Dahlgren, Ill, two sons; Levi Cross of Mt. Vernon, Ill and Justin (Autumn) Cross of Dahlgren, two daughters; Stephanie (Jodie) Skurat of Sesser, Ill and Crystal Cross of McLeansboro, Ill, six grandchildren; Clayton Cross, Zackary Avery, Emma Cross, Gavin Cross, Jacinda Cross and Grace Burkes.  Also surviving are four brothers; Albert Cross, David Cross, Dennis Cross and Robert Cross all of Dahlgren, Ill, and two sisters; Peggy Karcher and Patricia Green also of Dahlgren, Ill.

Mr. Cross was preceded in death by his father; Albert Wayne Cross.

Funeral Services for Mr. Cross will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren, Illinois with the Rev. Jacob Gray officiating.  Visitation will start at 10:00 a.m. and last until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
