Beulah Mae Skelton

Beulah Mae Skelton, age 93, a resident of McLeansboro, IL passed away at 4:35 am on Monday, June 27th, 2016 at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.

She was a homemaker and she was a member of the Mt. Olivet General Baptist Church since 1933.

She is survived by 2 sons:  Larry (friend Cathy) Skelton of New Haven, IL and Gerald W. (wife Crystal) Skelton of McLeansboro, 2 daughters:  Emily (husband Jesse) Vineyard of McLeansboro and Jane (husband Tim) Mitchell of McLeansboro, a brother Millage (wife Daisy) White of Carmi, IL; a twin sister Eulah Ray of McLeansboro, 10 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herman "Bones" Skelton, both parents Floyd & Ella (Miller) White, a brother Mark White, and a sister Irene Hall.

Funeral services for Beulah Mae Skelton will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at the Mt. Olivet General Baptist Church in McLeansboro, IL with Pastors:  Jesse Vineyard, Wendy Reed, Shaun Vineyard, and Rev. Robert Sefried officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 29th from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, and also on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Olivet General Baptist Church and will be accepted at the church, or at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro, which is in charge of the arrangements.
