Loretta Thomas

Loretta Thomas, 75, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019 at her home in Elgin, Illinois.

She was born January 13, 1944 in McLeansboro, IL, the daughter of Isaac and Flora Marie (Dooley) Brumit.  Loretta was a retired supervisor from Hawley Products in St. Charles, IL.

Survivors include her brother, Emery (Peggy) Brumit of New Philadelphia, OH; three sisters: Ruth (Bill) Foust of Dallas, TX, Maggie (John) Crue of Estill Springs, TN and Mary (Fred) Browning of Kimberling City, MO.  Several nieces, nephews and long time special friend, Horst Fiebig also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Floyd C. Thomas.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Pastor Jacob Gray officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday, October 26 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  Loretta will be laid to rest at the Springerton Cemetery in Springerton, IL.
