Michelle E. Brown

Michelle E. Brown, 72, a resident of Ft. Myers, Florida and formerly of McLeansboro, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019.

She was born in DuQuoin, IL on September 2, 1946, the daughter of Raymond H. and Rhea Ann (Redd) Day.  Michelle married Billy “Bill” Brown and he preceded her in death in 2007.  Michelle was a retired registered nurse having worked at hospitals in DuQuoin and McLeansboro and was a member of the McLeansboro Eagles Aerie 2699.

Michelle is survived by two sons: Danny R. Brown of McLeansboro, IL and Kevin W. (Joan) Rodenhofer of Ft. Myers, FL; special friend, Wendy Walsh of McLeansboro, IL; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Scott; one infant daughter, Ginger; and one daughter, Vonda Karnes.

A memorial funeral service will be held Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brush Harbor Cemetery near McLeansboro.  Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
