Betty G. Crider, 83, a resident of McLeansboro, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Wabash Christian Village in Carmi, IL.
She was born November 12, 1935 in Nokomis, IL, the daughter of Benjamin and Velma (Rhodes) Stevens. Betty was a home maker and was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church in Carmi.
Betty is survived by four sons: Donald Dean Harris of Eldorado, IL, Doug (Beth) Hudson of Harrisburg, IL, Raymond (Gladys) Hudson of Fairfield, IL and Tommy (Carolyn) Crider of Dahlgren, IL; three daughters: Bonnie (Mike) Dolish of Harrisburg, IL, Jerri Renee Jackson of McLeansboro, IL and Kim (Manuel) Russell of Walpole, IL; and one sister, Beverly Cunningham of Assumption, IL. Sixteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas H. Crider Sr.; one son, Brian Harris Sr.; two sisters, six brothers and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 1, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Rev. Mike Fields officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 1, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. She will be laid to rest at Smith Cemetery in Dale, IL.
