Brandon Paul Thomas Wheeler, 19, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in McLeansboro. Brandon was born on May 8, 2004 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Rodney Wheeler and Beatrice Holland. Brandon worked as a spudder operator in the oilfields.
Brandon loved to spend his days working on demolition derby cars, going fishing, waterfowl & deer hunting, mudding in his truck, any other mischief he could find. He was loved by so many and will always be missed. He was a great uncle, a son, a brother, and the best friend to so many of us.
Brandon is survived by a grandmother Victoria Ann Scott, maternal grandparents Juanita & Everett Workman, his father Rodney Wheeler, his mother Beatrice Holland, 2 brothers: John (Bryanna) Wheeler and Jacob Holland (and fiancé’ Felicia), a sister Leslie Wheeler, a nephew Kayson Wheeler, 2 uncles: Gene Wheeler and Tinker (Marie) Wheeler, and 2 aunts: Deb Wheeler and Lisa (Shane) Barker, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: John & Jurettia Wheeler, his maternal grandfather Gene Holland, an infant half brother Michael Holland, and an aunt Carmen Birkner.
