Chad Lee Koewers

Chad Lee Koewers, 56, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at his home in McLeansboro.  He was born on October 1, 1966 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Chad lived life to the fullest of adventure.  He loved to travel across the United States - at the drop of a hat, he’d go.

As a teenager, he raced dirt bikes, hill-climbed, painted cars, and rebuilt motors.  He enjoyed snowmobiling in the mountains or anyplace he found snow.  Chad was always listening to music and teaching himself how to play electric guitar and drums.

His favorite places were the Colorado mountains, the Gulf of Mexico, and Pensacola Beach.  He was an outdoor person who liked fishing & hunting.

Chad is survived by his wife, both parents, his brothers, children, step-children, grandchildren, a niece, nephews, cousins, father-in-law & mother-in-law, sister-in-laws, and step-brothers.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

There will be no formal services held at this time.
