Constant J. Jenkins II, 68, passed away Saturday, May 23, 2020 at his home in McLeansboro, Illinois.
He was born December 1, 1951 in Sterling, IL to Constant J. Jenkins I and Mildred Maxine (Hall) Jenkins. Constant served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War and Desert Storm. After serving his country he worked as a security guard and attended Mt. Olivet Baptist Church where he served as a deacon.
Constant is survived by his wife, Catherine Jenkins of McLeansboro, IL; three sons: Constant J. and wife Micki Jenkins III of Paris, IL, Michael Scott and wife Mona Jenkins of Fairfield, IL and Wayne Charles Jenkins of Harrisburg, IL; one sister, Sandra Jenkins of McLeansboro, IL; eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Davinia Wolfe.
Private family services will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with Rev. Bennie Webb officiating.
