David Clevenger Obituary

David Leon Clevenger, 81, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his home in Christopher, Illinois.

He was born September 5, 1939 in Memphis, TN to Charles Eily and Evelyn K. (Shaw) Clevenger. David married Jayne Mehan on July 25, 2018 and she survives. He was a mechanic by trade and specialized in small engine repair.

David is survived by his wife Jayne Mehan of Christopher, IL; two sons: David W. Clevenger of Lake Egypt, IL and Travis Trotter of Mt. Vernon, IL; four daughters: Lori Trotter of Dahlgren, IL, Evelyn M. Loubben of Watseka, IL, Marcia Bridges of West Frankfort, IL and Melinda Schramm of Tennessee; and one brother Clyde Shaw of Mississippi.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, three brothers and one son Cody Trotter.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
