Denzil Lee Clark

Denzil Lee Clark, 80, formerly of McLeansboro, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at his home in Hardinsburg, KY.

He was born July 30, 1937 in McLeansboro, IL to Denzil L. and Ethel Jane (Musgrave) Clark.  He was a retired auctioneer and a member of the Argo Summit Masonic Lodge in Summit, IL.

Denzil is survived by two sons: Kurt (Sheila) Clark of Hickory Hills, IL and Craig (Josette) Clark of Wilmington, IL; one daughter: Valerie Clark of Hardinsburg, KY; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Janice Clark, one son, Jeffrey Allen Clark, and one sister, Mary Stocke.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Rev. Robert Sefried officiating.  Visitation will be held Saturday, April 14 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  Masonic Rites will be held at 1:30 p.m. by the McLeansboro Masonic Polk Lodge #137.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the donors choice and will be accepted at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
