Devora Odien (Nelson) Boyer

Devora Odien (Nelson) Boyer, 78, of Eatonton, GA and formerly of McLeansboro, IL passed away at her home in Eatonton on August 28, 2022.

Devora was born November 23, 1943 in Enfield, IL the daughter of Joe & Wava Nelson.  On March 31, 1961 she married William Frederic Boyer, who survives.  Devora was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, and friend.

Devora is survived by a son Steven (Donna) Boyer of  Thomaston, GA; a daughter Anna (Billy) Holland of Eatonton, GA; and 3 sisters: Donna Miller, Brenda Ryan, and Melba Harl.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe & Wava Nelson.

Graveside funeral services for Devora Odien (Nelson) Boyer will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in McLeansboro, IL with Pastor Jacob Gray officiating.  Those attending the service are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
