Doris Jean Irvin, 84, of McLeansboro, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Hamilton Memorial Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in McLeansboro.
She was born in Bristow, Oklahoma on May 13, 1933 to Dwight and Mary Marguerta (Walker) Morris. She was a home maker.
Doris is survived by three daughters: Vicki Jeanne (Louie) Carter of Godfrey, IL, Carmen (Richard) Graulein of Lenzburg, IL and Shirley Ann (Larry) Shea of Eldorado, IL; one son, Shelton Irvin of McLeansboro, IL; two sisters: Sammie Smith and Sharon Harrison, both of McLeansboro, IL; and one brother, Stephen Morris of St. Louis, MO. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Logan Irvin, son John M. Irvin, and two sisters, Lois and Shirley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Rev. Gerald “Andy” May officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 4, 2018 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
