Doris Mae Richardson

Doris Mae Richardson, 80, a resident of Dahlgren, Illinois, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Hamilton Memorial Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in McLeansboro.

She was born April 13, 1940 in McLeansboro, IL to Oscar and Frances (Ewald) Rubenacker.  Doris was a devoted employee at the Warco Gas Station and former Elder Mfg. Company in McLeansboro.

Doris is survived by one son, Keith and wife Nolene Rubenacker of Dahlgren, IL; three daughters: Marsha and husband Dennis Cross of Dalhgren, IL, Jackie Warner of Truman, Arkansas and Kimberley and husband Wayne Hopper of McLeansboro, IL; seven grandchildren: Ryan Rubenacker, Dr. Sarah and husband Mike Smith, Christopher and wife Angela Cross, Rainbow and husband Andrew Smith, Lola Kirstie and husband Brody McClaren, Nathan Warner and Trenton Hopper; two brothers: Sam and wife Judy Rubenacker of McLeansboro, IL and Dave and wife June Rubenacker of Dahlgren, IL; and one sister, Angie and husband Elmer Butler of Dahlgren, IL.  Seven grandchildren also survive.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil Lee Richardson, three brothers: Jerry, Jack and Tim Rubenacker; and one sister, Phyllis Rapp.
