Fritz E. Gunter Jr.

Fritz E. Gunter, Jr., age 95, formerly of McLeansboro, Illinois passed away Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his home in Booneville, Missouri.  He was employed by CocaCola corporation for twenty years.  He later went into homebuilding/construction and also served on the Deming, New Mexico Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Kay N. Gunter, of Booneville, Missouri, two daughters, Lynn (husband Kenneth) Eaves, of Lolma Linda, California, and Sandra Gunter of Deming, New Mexico.  Also several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Rodger and Larry Thomas Gunter, one daughter, Brenda Lou Gunter, and two brothers and one sister.  Private family services will be held.  The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of the arrangements.
