George Tracy Engle

George Tracy Engle, 76, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at his home in McLeansboro, Illinois.

He was born October 13, 1942 in McLeansboro, IL to Orville and Naomi (Tracy) Engle.  George worked for the Wabash Valley Farm Service for several years and was a member of the McLeansboro Eagles Aerie #2699, McLeansboro Elks Lodge #1882 and an auxiliary member of the McLeansboro American Legion Post 106.

George is survived by one brother, Orville E. (Lee) Engle of Alton, IL; and two sisters: Edith Garrison and Nedra Barnes, both of McLeansboro, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Ruth and Virginia Engle; and two brothers: Claude and Robert Engle.

A public visitation for George Engle will be held Friday, August 16, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of Gholson Funeral Home.
