Goldie Larua Gustafson

Goldie Larua Gustafson, 61, of Springerton, IL passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro, IL.

She was born October 16, 1962 in Eldorado, IL, the daughter of Arive “Ty” Craddock & Norma Craddock.

Goldie held various jobs during her life.  She mowed lawns and cemeteries with Gunter Mowing Service of McLeansboro, worked as an EMT for Gholson Ambulance Service in McLeansboro, and as a CNA at Enfield Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.  Goldie loved mowing and weed-eating the grass.  She enjoyed going fishing and camping, but she was most known for loving all her kids and taking care of all her grandkids and their friends.

She is survived by her son, Levi Farthing of McLeansboro; her daughters: Tosha Gesick of McLeansboro, and Heather Schnicker of McLeansboro; her son Chris (Taylor) Gustafson of West Frankfort; and her sisters: Twyllia Sivok of Eldorado, Kathy Karnes of Eldorado, and Becky (Mike) Green of Florida.  Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Goldie was preceded in death by her parents Ty & Norma Craddock, step-father Charles Toothman, and grandson Heath Toothman.

There will be no formal services at this time.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gholson Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
