John Wilson "Johnny" Mezo Jr.

John W. “Johnny” Mezo Jr., 82, of McLeansboro, IL, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at his home.  

He was born in McLeansboro, IL on February 1, 1935 to John Wilson and Geneva (Deitz) Mezo Sr.  He was a retired city cab driver.

John is survived by his daughter, Patricia Nadine Harris of East Alton, IL; brothers, James Mezo of O” Fallon, MO and Robert Mezo of McLeansboro, IL; and sister, Nancy Markle of Wheeling, WV.  Two grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, one half brother and one half sister.

There will be no formal services for John W. “Johnny” Mezo Jr.  

The Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro is in charge of arrangements.
