Kathy Little Obituary

Kathy Little, 62, of McLeansboro, IL was born on July 9, 1963. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026 in McLeansboro.

Kathy was the beloved daughter of Carl Little. She was preceded in death by her father and her three sisters, Loraine Bullock, Brenda Murdach, and Joyce Little.

She is lovingly remembered by her three children: sons Adam (Tara) Little and Teddy (Erin Irvin) Little, and daughter Katie (Mike Johnson) Little. She was a proud grandmother to 6 grandchildren: Carrigan (Layton Gardner) Little, Grady Wilton, Wyatt Wilton, Addyson Little, Taylor Little, and Tyler Little; and a cherished great-grandmother to Emersyn Gardner. She is also survived by her sisters Francis Little and Cheryl Johnson; her brother Carl Wayne Little; and her brother-in-law Larry Bullock.

Kathy was a hard-working woman throughout her life, she loved her family with all her heart. She found joy in the simple things, she loved rummage sales, tending her garden, caring for her chickens, and spoiling her ferocious Chihuahua, Spike. Above all else, Kathy treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. They were truly the center of her world.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to their cousin, Rachel Voss, whose exceptional care, compassion, and unwavering support for Kathy can never be overstated. Her kindness and the time she devoted to Kathy were an immeasurable gift to the entire family.

In accordance with Kathy’s wishes, a private ceremony will be held at a later date to bury her ashes beside her father.
