Kenneth "Kenny" Michael Sullivan

Kenneth Michael “Kenny” Sullivan, 66, of McLeansboro, IL passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Hamilton Memorial Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in McLeansboro.

Kenny was born October 31, 1955 in Eldorado, IL, the son of George Warren and Evelyn (Wiggins) Sullivan.  He worked on and off in the oil fields when he was a young man, and also farmed with many different local farmers throughout his life.  Kenny enjoyed hunting for Indian rocks and artifacts, fishing, riding motorcycles, 3-wheelers, and 4-wheelers.  He attended various area churches throughout the years including Springerton Christian Church and Pleasant Union Church.

Kenny is survived by his brother Marty Sullivan of McLeansboro, brother Steven Anthony Sullivan of McLeansboro, brother Quentin (Julie) Sullivan of McLeansboro, sister Lisa (Alan) Wheeler of McLeansboro, two nieces Dakota Sullivan and Serena Sullivan of McLeansboro; four nephews: Dalton Ray Sullivan of Eldorado, Jeremy Wyatt Grein of McLeansboro, Isaiah Ray French of McLeansboro and Arlo Harland French of McLeansboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents George Warren Sullivan and Evelyn (Wiggins) Sullivan, and his nephew, Jeremy Sullivan.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 7:00pm at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Pastor Randall Ragan officiating.  Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until the time of service on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to assist the family with funeral costs and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home.
