Robert Lee Hill

Robert Lee Hill, 56, a resident of McLeansboro, Illinois passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.

He was born January 5, 1964 in East Prairie, Missouri to Paul James and Linda Marie (Rutledge) Hill.  Robert worked as a custodial crew member with Trade Industries.  He loved fishing and spending time with his grandkids and enjoyed watching the Chicago Cubs.

Robert is survived by his wife, Angelia Hill of McLeansboro, IL; son, Robert Dylan and wife Brittany Hill of McLeansboro, IL; daughter, Elizabeth Hill of McLeansboro, IL; three grandchildren: Bryson, Brantley and Blake Hill; brother, Peter Rutledge of Evansville, IN and step-sister, Christina Broyles of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Paul and one sister, Teresa.

A private graveside service will be held Monday, May 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Hopewell Cemetery near McLeansboro with Rev. Tim Biggerstaff officiating.
