Robert Eugene Tedford

Robert Eugene “Bob” Tedford, 69, of McLeansboro, IL passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  Bob was born on March 5, 1957 in Eldorado, IL to Homer Tedford, Jr. & Dana Lee (Clark) Tedford.

Bob was retired from Hamilton Memorial Hospital, where he had worked in the maintenance department.  He had previously worked as a coal miner and an oilfield worker.  He loved riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandsons.

Bob is survived by his 3 children: Brandy Tedford, Brad Tedford, and Joplin (Zack) Pearce; and his 2 grandsons: Cayden Pearce and Casey Pearce.

He was preceded in death by his parents Homer & Dana Tedford.

A graveside funeral service for Robert Eugene “Bob” Tedford will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at Glenview Memory Gardens in McLeansboro.  Those attending are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
