Rozalia Arlene Riley, 84, of McLeansboro, Illinois, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the McLeansboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She was born March 3, 1934 in Greenup, IL to Samuel and Maxine (Feltner) Floyd. Arlene was a retired seamstress for the former Elder Manufacturing Company in McLeansboro and also attended the Temple Baptist Church. She married Charles Gilbert Riley and he preceded her in death.
Arlene is survived by her son, Raymond (Rose) Riley of McLeansboro; step-daughter, Barbara Cartwright of Sumterville, FL; three sisters: Irene Zenthoefer of Lockport, LA, Rossine (Donald) Kirsch of McLeansboro and Violet (Larry) Lasater of McLeansboro; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild and one son, Phillip Floyd.
Graveside memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Brush Harbor Cemetery near McLeansboro with Brother Scott Webb officiating. Those attending the service are asked to meet at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Brush Harbor Cemetery Fund or to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the cemetery service or the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
