Ruth Evelyn Brown

Reverend Ruth Evelyn Brown, 93, formerly of McLeansboro, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 in New Carlisle, Ohio,

She was born December 19, 1924 in Coello, Illinois to Hoover and Alice (Pharris) Meadows.  She was a retired minister.

Ruth is survived by her son, Ronald (Linda) Brown and daughter, Alice R. Webster, all of Huber Heights, Ohio.  Three grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and five sisters.

A private memorial service and interment will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of the Gholson Funeral Home.
