Obituary
Samantha Faye Blake, 40, of Broughton, IL passed away on Friday, March 3, 2023 in a tragic house fire. Samantha was born in Waynesburg, PA on March 17, 1982. She grew up in Pennsylvania, before moving to Illinois. She was a loving mother to her 4 children – 3 daughters and 1 son. She spent the majority of her life making everyone around her smile, giving everyone around her a reason to be happy, and giving everyone something to look forward to – because every moment with her was special.
Samantha was loved by many people, because her heart was big enough to fit the world inside it. Samantha’s presence was like a ray of warm sunshine, that could provide warmth and comfort even in the coldest place on Earth. She was loved dearly, and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Samantha is survived by her 4 children: Timothy Martisko Jr. (22), Roxilena Martisko (19), Roseabella Martisko (12), and Raelynn Rogers; and a grandson Bentley Butler, who is 1 year old. She is also survived by several brothers & sisters, aunts & uncles, and nieces & nephews – all of which she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by both parents, an uncle Dawn Blake, and her grandparents Beryl Harlan Blake & Iona (Carr) Blake.
