Terri Jo (Peck) Jones

Terri Jo Jones, age 63, of Dahlgren, IL passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro.  She was born in Danville, IL on December 14, 1961 to Wayne & Alice Peck.  On January 20, 1984 she married Doug Jones, who survives.  In all, they spent 46 years together.

Terri was a homemaker, and she was a Sunday School teacher and a faithful member of the Dahlgren Baptist Church in Dahlgren, IL.  She lived her life serving her Savior, and she dedicated 2 hours every day to daily devotion with the Lord.

She loved and adored her children and grandson.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson Kaden.  She also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.

Terri is survived by her husband Doug Jones; 2 daughters: Cassie (Seth) Ellis and Shelby Jones; a brother Gregory Peck; and a sister Laurie Wright.

She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne & Alice Peck, and a sister Vicky Gaines.

Funeral services for Terri Jo Jones will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at Dahlgren Baptist Church in Dahlgren, IL with Pastor Brad Sloan officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the church.  There will not be a graveside service or cemetery procession following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to assist with final expenses, and may be made to Gholson Funeral Home.
