Dorothy Marie Johnson, 89, a resident of Broughton, IL, passed away peacefully, Monday, July 10, 2017 at her home.
She was born in Chicago, IL on March 24, 1928 to Joseph and Katherine (Edelmann) Jorsch.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Deuard Johnson; two daughters, Linda (James) Medley of Broughton, IL and Sandra Sue Strain of Texico, IL; three grandchildren, Levi Cross, Jackie Isley, and Michael Medley; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services for Dorothy Marie Johnson will be held Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating. Interment will be in the Hickory Hill Cemetery near Broughton. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
