Gary W. Wheeler

Gary Wheeler, age 56, a resident of McLeansboro, Illinois passed away Saturday, July 29, 20l7 at his home.  Survivors include his wife Vicky J. Wheeler of McLeansboro; a son, Cody Wheeler and his girlfriend Bree Brisco, of McLeansboro; a daughter, Amy Seidel of Olney, Illinois, and her significant other Craig Stoll. Two grandchildren: Samantha (husband SPC Derek) Files of the U S Army, Alex Seidel of Olney, Illinois; three Great Grandchildren: Remington Files, Joscelin Files, and Benjamin Files. Also two brothers:
Nick Wheeler of McLeansboro, and Wade (wife Barbara) Wheeler of McLeansboro; four sisters: Carolyn (husband Amos) Draper of McLeansboro; Nancy Jo Wheeler 
of Mt. Morris, Illinois, and Barbara Curtis and her companion Mike Simmons of Wayne City, Illinois; and Lisa (Husband Shane) Barker of Dale, Illinois.

He was born in Hamilton County, Illinois on December 16,1960, the son of Ralph and Maude Wheeler. He was the field boss for Shakespeare Oil Company. He was preceded in death by his
parents, one brother Richard Wheeler, and one sister Betty Lou Buckner. Funeral services for Gary W. Wheeler were held Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 1:00 P M at the
Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  Rev. Tim Gholson officiated the service. Burial was in the Old Springer Cemetery near McLeansboro. Visitation was held from 9:00 A M 
Tuesday August 1, 2017 to 1:00 P M at Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.  Memorials may be made to the family to help with
funeral expenses and will be accepted at Gholson Funeral Home.
