Pauline Ingram, 83, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 at her home in McLeansboro, Illinois.
She was born in Hamilton County, IL on May 17, 1934 to Tony and Helen (Gidcumb) Becker. She married Billy Joe Ingram on December 10, 1954 and he survives. In life she worked for several years at the Hamilton Memorial Hospital and was also a member of the First Christian Church in McLeansboro.
Pauline is survived her husband, Billy Joe Ingram of McLeansboro; daughter, Vicky J. Wheeler of McLeansboro; two grandchildren, Amy (significant other Craig Stroll) Seidel of McLeansboro and Cody (fiancé Bree Brisco) Wheeler of McLeansboro; two great grandchildren, Samantha (Derek) Files of the United States Army and Alex Seidel of McLeansboro; three great-great grandchildren, Remington Files, Joscelin Files and Benjamin Files. Also surviving are three brothers, Paul (Betty) Becker of McLeansboro, Bill (Phyllis) Becker of Norris City, Larry (Joann) Price of Enfield; and sister-in-law, Mae Becker of Springerton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charles Becker and a son-in-law, Gary W. Wheeler.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with the Rev. Carroll Kakac officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Old Springer Cemetery near McLeansboro. Visitation will be Monday, December 18, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro.
