Sylvia H. Frye-Davis, 67, a resident of Carrier Mills, IL, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN.
She was born in Chicago, IL on October 20, 1950 to Harold and Betty Maye (Hinton) Frye. In life she worked as a Registered Nurse.
Sylvia is survived by her husband, Torrence F. Davis Sr. of Carrier Mills, IL; four sons, Torrence F. Davis Jr. of Eldorado, IL, Tavis F. Davis of Eldorado, IL, Torrence F. Davis II and Travis F. Davis, both of Roosevelt, California; and one sister, Cynthia Stone of Peoria, IL.
A memorial service will be held on December 9, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at the East Washington Street Community Center in Carrier Mills, IL with Pastor Ownly Williams officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the East Washington Street Community Center. Interment will be at a later date at the Lakeview Cemetery in Carrier Mills.
