Virginia L. Bullock

Virginia L. Bullock, 89, formerly of Dahlgren and Wayne City, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.

She was born October 31, 1927 in Enfield, IL to Clarence and Ethel (Hasten) Russell.  She married Ralph Bullock and he preceded her in death.  Virginia was also a member of the Sims Congregational Christian Church.

Virginia is survived by two sons, Steve (Vicki) Bullock of McLeansboro and Larry (Loraine) Bullock of Belle Rive; one daughter, Connie L. (Marvin) McCormick of Fairfield; and one brother, Raymond Russell of Evansville, IN.  Nine grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services for Virginia Bullock will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren with the Revs. Marvin McCormick and Jedidiah McCormick officiating.  Visitation will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in Dahlgren.
